ABOUT JUNIOR MAD SCIENTIST DAY 2015

SAACS is gearing up for our 2nd annual Mad Scientist Day Junior! This year, it will be held on May 16th in the Chemistry Building at UAB. The event is free and open to anyone elementary through middle school-age in the greater Birmingham community.

Mad Scientist Day Junior is an event where children can come and learn in the best way possible--through hands-on events.

The event will begin at 10am and end at 4pm, and snacks will be provided. Parents should note that some demonstrations at the event can be messy, so children (and parents) need be dressed appropriately.

Registration IS required for this event (although it is free), and more information can be found on the tabs above. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us through the form under the 'Contact' tab.

Whether you are looking for a fun way to spark your child's interest in science or just a fun weekend activity, Mad Scientist Day 2015 is perfect for you. This event features over 30 stations, each of which is a fun new experience that will (hopefully) begin to instill a love of learning in your little scientist.
